The Laser is a true moped that can be propelled by either human
pedaling or it's EPA approved gasoline engine. The modern 49cc,
four-stroke, over-head cam engine uses regular unleaded gasoline and
eliminates the pre-mixing of fuel as is required in
two-stroke mopeds. The twist-throttle, automatic clutch and
electric starting (pedal start also) ensures simple operation. The
Laser's all steel frame, large 17 inch alloy wheels, adjustable rear
shock absorbers and front fork suspension all combine to produce a
comfortable and stable ride. Superior braking is provided by the
motorcycle-style rear drum and front disc brakes. DOT required
equipment such as high/low beam headlight, tail light, brake lights,
turn signals, horn and speedometer are all included as standard
equipment.

Additional standard features include a tachometer,
locking gas cap, locking steering, lighted gauges, aluminum alloy
wheels, rear buddy seat and rear foot pegs. To allow for more
power in conquering heavier loads and steep hills,
the operator has
the option of placing the automatic transmission in "Low Range"
prior to taking off. Maintenance is minimal with the Laser's breakerless electronic (CDI) ignition and with oil changes that
require less than one quart of oil. The Laser is capable of speeds
up to 35 mph while maintaining fuel economy of over 100 mpg. For
registration, a Manufacturer's Statement/ Certificate of Origin (MSO/MCO)
is Included.
