Commercial quality 2 cycle air cooled gasoline engine:
Cylinder: Die cast aluminum/chrome plated bore for long life.
Bore and Stroke: 35cc: 1.44 x 1.28 in. (37mm x 33mm)
Optional: 41cc: 1.57 x 1.28 in. (40mm x 33mm)
Piston: Aluminum alloy diamond turned.
Crankshaft: One piece precision ground.
Connecting Rod: One piece with needle bearings at top end and roller bearings at bottom end.
Bearings: Two main needle crankshaft bearings.
Clutch: Two shoe centrifugal.
Ignition System: One piece electronic. Requires no maintenance.
Spark Plug: Champion RCJ7Y or equivalent.
Carburetor: Walbro all position Fuel/Oil Ratio: 32:1 leaded or unleaded gasoline.
Choke: Integral with air cleaner assembly.
Starter: Recoil type (4 way orientation).

Easy to operate throttle lever. Twist grip throttle optional.  Heavy duty centrifugal clutch for automatic operation.  Engine can be locked in a "free wheeling" position for normal pedaling.  Easy pull starts.  Requires only a small amount of pedaling to get rolling (like a moped).  Steel splined drive hub, engineered for long life and minimal tire wear.  Frame manufactured of 12 and 14 gauge cold rolled steel for strength and durability.  Lightweight powerful engine weights 5.5 lb. (2.49 kg) for best power to weight ratio.  1 1/2 pint (.85 liters) gas tank gives up to 50 mile (80 km) range.  Total weight of kit only 10 14 lb. (4.65 kg) for proper balance.

DT-35: This model has a clutch and is designed to fit bikes with 16" wheels. It Is mounted on the front axle, right side with a diamond shaped brace that attaches to the front fork. This allows bike to fold to the left unobstructed. The DT-35N fits the (newer) DAHON folders such as the, Classic 16" with a narrow front fork.

PT-35: This mode has a clutch and fits bikes with 20" wheels. With some variation, it can be mounted on the front axle right side or rear, but was designed with the DAHON 20" Folder in mind. Again, the PT-35N fits DAHON Folders with very narrow front forks, Most DAHON 16" and 20" Folders have had the narrow front fork since 1988. Stainless Steel brackets are available for use with the DAHON 20" Mariner.

BT-35: Generic brackets allow this engine with clutch to fit 20-27" wheel bikes. Normally, the exhaust is mounted to fit on the rear wheel; however, we can accommodate mounting on the front tire. The front wheel is preferred for adult tricycles, or for those who want the convenience of a rear rack on their bike.
