DRIVE SYSTEM:

MOTOR:
High efficiency, ceramic, permanent magnet direct current motor.
High output, 5 HP at 3,500 RPM peak. Weight is four pounds.
MOTOR CONTROL:
Single-speed, solid
state/electro-mechanical system. Spring loaded safety on/off
trigger switch shuts off motor when released. Rider must pedal to
activate.
BATTERY:
Sealed,
maintenance-free, lead acid dry-cell twelve volt, 20 amp-hr battery is
approximately 7" x 7" x 3" and weighs about 12.5 pounds.
BATTERY CONTAINMENT:
Battery bag is a
heavy duty nylon Cordura material with a large nylon zipper.
Battery can be removed in seconds with the convenient Quick Release
feature. The battery tray is secured to the bicycle frame on the
down tube and seat tube.
CHARGER:
Automatic, portable,
2.5 amp, mini-charger plugs into standard electrical socket
(110VAC). The maximum charging time is 5-6 hours. 2-3 hours
max. using the optional ZAP 6 amp charger.
SPEEDS:
Pedal assisted speed
is approximately 16 mph (180 pound rider).
RANGE:
Total range is
dependent on terrain and rider input through pedaling. Range is
typically up to 20 miles on flat, level ground with rider input.
WARRANTY:
One year
limited. Some assembly required.
OPTIONS:
25 watt headlight, Speedometer, Exercise stand, Solar panel - Charge with the sun!
Extra battery - for alternating continuous usage, ZAP 6 amp rapid charger.

motor. 200 watts / 0.3 horsepower peak output, 4000 rpm
peak.
