The Lashout Electric Bicycle is the future of local transportation. When under electric power only, this Full-Suspension Mountain Bike has a realistic range of 8-12 miles (depending on rider's weight) and can travel at 17-18 mph on flat level ground.  Distances up to 20 miles are possible when the electric power is assisted by nominal pedaling. The battery's charge can be monitored by using the battery condition indicator. The combination of front-fork and dual-shock rear suspension delivers a comfortable ride.  Speed is controlled by a variable speed thumb throttle.  The seven pedaling speeds are controlled by a handlebar grip-shifter. Hand brake levers have automatic motor shut off switches that are triggered when the brakes are applied.  The battery can be charged while installed on the bike or it may be removed and charged inside. This bike is truly unique!
